Last Asylum Plague Crystal Cluster Valley

Published: 2026-10-25

Crystal Cluster Valley is a 30 minute solo PvP event on its own map. You collect Purified Crystals by killing Plague Rats, holding Crystal Clusters and grabbing instant clusters, and at minute 23 the Sacred Cave opens for the final fight. Your crystal total unlocks 10 milestone rewards, with the last one at 150,000, and it also sets your rank.

Crystal Cluster Valley Rules

The valley is an individual event. You compete against everyone in your group, including members of your own alliance, and no alliance score exists. A group holds up to 350 players, and the game sorts players into a group by Sanctuary level.

GroupSanctuary levelsPlayers per group
115 to 25up to 350
226 to 30up to 350
331 to 36up to 350
437 to 45up to 350

Failed attacks on a mine add failure counts to your hero. After a set number of failures, up to five stacking steps, your hero deals less damage for a while, and the count falls slowly with time. Skills and relocation matter more than fighting, so pick fights you can win.

Valley Timeline

The schedule lists these start times in server time: 02:00, 09:00, 18:00, 23:00, and each round runs 30 minutes. Guides report three windows per cycle for most players, and the game lets you play one. Entry closes 20 minutes after the valley opens, so join early.

MinuteWhat happens
0 to 2Preparation. The game places you at a random spot. Use the free relocation to reach a better area.
2 to 10Kill Plague Rats to earn skill XP and take Crystal Clusters.
10, 11, 12Instant clusters appear, one wave per minute. A notice shows one minute before the first wave.
20, 21, 22The second group of instant cluster waves.
23The Sacred Cave in the center opens. Only one troop of yours can attack it at a time.
30The round ends and the game ranks everyone by Purified Crystals.

Clusters and Plague Rats

The map has three levels of Crystal Cluster plus the instant cluster. A higher level holds more crystals and gives them faster, so the time to drain a cluster at base speed is always the same. The numbers below are base values, before the Crystal Mining skill.

ClusterLevelCrystalsBase speed per secondTime to drain
Crystal Cluster 1 8,640 12 12m
Crystal Cluster 2 17,280 24 12m
Crystal Cluster 3 34,560 48 12m
Instant Cluster 4 4,000 200 20s

Plague Rats roam the map and drop skill XP. The two rat types give 75 and 150 XP. All 5 skill tiers together cost 5,400 XP, so rat hunting is the first job of every round. The crystals from rats are small, but the XP opens the skills that raise your crystal rate for the rest of the round.

Valley Skills

Skills last only for the current round. You learn one skill from each pair, and the XP price rises with the tier. Tiers 1 to 4 are passive and work at once. Tier 5 is active, and you cast it by hand with a cooldown.

TierXPOption AOption B
1 200 Crystal Surge: Periodically gain 1080 Purified Crystals Plague Rat Hunter: Gain 1500 extra Crystals when you slay a Plague Rat
2 500 Force Expansion: Single Hero March Capacity +50 Swift March: Troop March Speed in Crystal Cluster Valley +25%
3 900 Valley Plunder: Gain 5000 extra Purified Crystals when you seize a Lode. CD: 60s Valley Vigil: Gain 5000 extra Purified Crystals when you fail to seize a Lode. CD: 60s
4 1,500 Crystal Mining: Crystal Cluster Gathering Speed increases by 15% Iron Will: Reduces the duration of debuffs received by 30s
5 (active) 2,300 Valley Awakening: Increases Hero DMG by 15% for 60s. CD: 300s Crystal Resonance: Temporarily increases Crystal Cluster Gathering Speed by 50% for 60s. CD: 300s

Crystal Surge pays 1,080 crystals every 60 seconds, which is 18 per second and more than the 12 per second of a level 1 cluster, and it needs no squad at all. Plague Rat Hunter pays 1,500 per rat and fits players with several squads on rats. Valley Plunder adds 5,000 each time you seize a cluster, once per 60 seconds, so it suits players who hop between mines. One guide recommends this path: Crystal Surge, Swift March, Valley Plunder, Crystal Mining, and then the active skill, chosen by how much you fight for the Sacred Cave.

Crystal Cluster Valley Strategy

Watch this guide for the valley layout and the order of the first minutes, then follow the plan below.

Crystal Cluster Valley guide for Last Asylum: Plague
Video: Crystal Cluster Valley guide for Last Asylum: Plague
  1. Preparation. Use the 2 minutes to relocate near a dense area of Plague Rats and clusters. One guide sends top accounts to level 3 tiles and mid tier accounts to level 2 clusters.
  2. Minutes 2 to 10. Kill rats first. They die fast and give the XP for your skills, and two guides agree that early skills pay back the most. Send one squad to collect crystals and the others to rats.
  3. Instant waves. Free one squad before minute 10 and again before minute 20. Instant clusters pay a lot in seconds, and the notice gives you a minute to move.
  4. Middle of the round. Once your key skills are learned, move from rats to clusters. A level 2 cluster pays twice and a level 3 cluster four times the rate of a level 1 cluster. One guide sends the strongest squad to far, empty clusters and keeps side squads on safe nearby ones.
  5. Minute 23 to the end. The Sacred Cave opens. Strong accounts attack it for occupation points. Guides advise everyone else to keep farming clusters, because a lost cave fight costs time and failure counts.

A fourth march is a clear advantage here, because it lets you farm, hunt rats and collect spilled crystals at the same time. A defeated player drops crystals around the mine, and a quick march that collects them gives you free points. Aim for 150,000 crystals first so you secure every milestone reward, and then climb the ranking.

Valley Rewards

There are two reward tracks. The milestone track pays for your own crystal total, and every player can finish it. The rank track pays the best places in your group. The tables repeat across Sanctuary groups, so the values below apply to every group.

The Sacred Cave adds a third prize. Players who hold the cave collect occupation points, and the top ten receive extra Purified Crystals, from 100,000 for first place down to 20,000 for tenth. That bonus is a large share of the 150,000 milestone target, which is why strong accounts fight for it. UR Hero Omni Shards from the rank table are useful for heroes you already own, and the heroes page shows who to build first.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does Crystal Cluster Valley last?

Each round lasts 30 minutes. You get a 2 minute preparation phase at the start, and entry closes 20 minutes after the valley opens. You can join each session once per day. The timeline shows the key minutes, including the instant clusters and the Sacred Cave.

When do instant clusters appear?

Instant clusters appear in two groups of three waves, at minutes 10, 11, 12 and 20, 21, 22. A notice shows one minute before the first wave of each group. Each instant cluster holds 4,000 crystals and drains in 20 seconds, so keep one squad free to reach it fast.

What is the best Crystal Cluster Valley skill order?

Learn skills in the order the XP allows, one from each pair. One guide picks Crystal Surge first, then Swift March, Valley Plunder and Crystal Mining, and chooses the active skill last depending on how much you fight for the Sacred Cave. The skills table lists every option.

How many crystals do I need for all milestone rewards?

You need 150,000 Purified Crystals to unlock all 10 milestone rewards. The first milestone starts at 3,750, and each step adds speedups, Fame Medals and other items. Guides tell you to reach 150,000 first and then climb the ranking, because the milestones are open to everyone. See the rewards tables.

Can I lose troops in Crystal Cluster Valley?

No. Valley troops are event only and do not die, and your normal army is untouched. The healing queue in the valley has unlimited capacity and costs no resources. Failed attacks on mines still hurt: they add a failure count to your hero, and repeated failures weaken the hero for a time.

Can I attack other players in the valley?

You cannot attack or scout player territories in the valley. You can attack a Crystal Cluster that another player holds, and beating that player lets you take over the mine. Crystals that spill when a player loses a mine lie on the ground, so a quick march can collect them.
