Last Asylum Plague City Siege
City Siege is the alliance mode where R4 and R5 members declare war on cities on the world map, and every member gets a buff once the alliance holds one. The map has 86 cities in six levels. A new alliance starts with any Lv.1 city, and every later target must touch a city you already own. Royal City Scramble sits on top: a weekly alliance fight for the Royal City at the map center that crowns the King.
City Levels and Buffs
The 86 cities split into six levels. A higher level means more durability, a bigger buff and a higher Might requirement for the alliance that declares war. Every level has a Battle Death Ratio of 20 percent, so some soldiers die in each siege fight. Buff names follow the in-game list, and the number in brackets counts the cities with that buff.
| City level | Cities | Durability | Alliance Might to declare | Buffs for the alliance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 3 | 200,000 | 4,672,500 | Building Construction Speed +20% (1), Research Speed +20% (1), Training Speed +5% (1) |
| 5 | 4 | 150,000 | 3,031,000 | Grain Gathering Speed +20% (1), Grain Output +20% (1), Herb Output +20% (1), Timber Output +20% (1) |
| 4 | 7 | 110,000 | 1,358,500 | Grain Gathering Speed +15% (4), Grain Output +15% (1), Herb Output +15% (1), Timber Output +15% (1) |
| 3 | 12 | 80,000 | 907,500 | Grain Output +10% (4), Herb Output +10% (4), Timber Output +10% (4) |
| 2 | 22 | 60,000 | 597,500 | Grain Gathering Speed +5% (10), Herb Output +5% (12) |
| 1 | 38 | 50,000 | 341,000 | Grain Output +5% (20), Timber Output +5% (18) |
Almost every buff boosts the economy. Only the three Lv.6 fortresses give speed buffs for research, construction and training, so the top cities decide which bonus your alliance wants. Alliance members share the buff, and the game lists your current buffs in the city list.
Declare War on a City
Only R4 and R5 members can declare war, and an alliance can have one declared war at a time. An alliance without a city may attack any Lv.1 city. Once it owns a city, it may attack only cities that border one it owns. The declaration button also checks the alliance, and the game lists each unmet condition in red:
- The alliance is at least 24 hours old.
- The alliance has reached the member requirement, which is 20 members.
- The alliance Might reaches the number for the city level in the table above.
- The alliance has declarations left today, up to 3 a day.
- The alliance has not reached the ownership limit for that city level.
High-level cities open over time. When a city level unlocks on your server, the game raises both the number of cities an alliance may own and the daily declaration limit. You can declare war in advance while a city is still under protection, and the battle then starts when the protection ends.
| Highest city level unlocked | Cities an alliance can own | War declarations per day |
|---|---|---|
| Lv.1 | 2 | 1 |
| Lv.2 | 4 | 2 |
| Lv.3 | 5 | 2 |
| Lv.4 | 5 | 3 |
| Lv.5 | 6 | 3 |
| Lv.6 | 6 | 3 |
At the first stage an alliance can own 2 cities and declare 1 war a day. At the last stage the limits are 6 cities and 3 declarations. Because only one war can be open at a time, the daily limit mainly caps how fast a strong alliance can chain captures. The alliance menu on the alliance page shows the rights each rank has for these actions.
How to Capture a City
A city moves through four states: Under Protection, Occupiable, In Battle and Occupied. When the city is occupiable and war is declared, members open the city window and tap Prepare for Siege to send troops. Fighting troops face the city defenders, and some soldiers die in the fight at the death ratio from the table. Heavy losses heal in the Infirmary, as the PvP page explains for other battle types.
The first alliance to capture a city gets a first capture reward. Members who fought get the larger reward, and every other member gets a smaller one. Rewards grow with the city level.
| City level | Members who fought | Every alliance member |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 800 Diamonds, 8 Recruit Ticket, 1 Alliance Relocate, 12 50K Grain, 12 50K Timber, 12 30K Herbs, 2 Resource Supply (General) | 1 Alliance Relocate, 8 50K Grain, 8 50K Timber, 8 30K Herbs, 2 Resource Supply (General) |

City Siege Tasks
The city war lists 14 tasks. Two kinds repeat: take part in a number of captures, or have your alliance hold cities of a given level. Rewards arrive in your mailbox when the competition ends, and only if you finish the goal before then.
| Task | Goal | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Take part in capturing 1 city | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x1 |
| 2 | Take part in capturing 2 cities | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x2 |
| 3 | Take part in capturing 3 cities | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x3 |
| 4 | Take part in capturing 6 cities | 50 Stamina x2, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x30, 5m Healing Speedup x30, Resource Supply (General) x4 |
| 5 | Your alliance holds 1 Lv.3 city | 5m Construction Speedup x30, 5m Research Speedup x30, Resource Supply (General) x1 |
| 6 | Your alliance holds 2 Lv.3 cities | 5m Construction Speedup x40, 5m Research Speedup x40, Resource Supply (General) x2 |
| 7 | Your alliance holds 3 Lv.3 cities | 5m Construction Speedup x50, 5m Research Speedup x50, Resource Supply (General) x3 |
| 8 | Take part in capturing 1 city | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x1 |
| 9 | Take part in capturing 2 cities | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x2 |
| 10 | Take part in capturing 3 cities | 50 Stamina x1, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x10, 5m Healing Speedup x10, Resource Supply (General) x3 |
| 11 | Take part in capturing 4 cities | 50 Stamina x2, Alliance Relocate x1, 5m Training Speedup x30, 5m Healing Speedup x30, Resource Supply (General) x4 |
| 12 | Your alliance holds 1 Lv.4 city | 5m Construction Speedup x30, 5m Research Speedup x30, Resource Supply (General) x1 |
| 13 | Your alliance holds 1 Lv.5 city | 5m Construction Speedup x40, 5m Research Speedup x40, Resource Supply (General) x2 |
| 14 | Your alliance holds 1 Lv.6 city | 5m Construction Speedup x50, 5m Research Speedup x50, Resource Supply (General) x3 |
The join tasks are cheap for any player, because you only need to send troops to the captures. The hold tasks need the whole alliance to keep cities, and they pay the construction and research speedups.
City Map and Coordinates
The strongest cities sit near the middle of the world map, close to the Royal City at 500, 500. Three Lv.6 fortresses and four Lv.5 temples form this core, and their borders link them, so one alliance can chain from city to city. The world map page explains the map itself. This table lists their coordinates.
| City | X | Y | Buff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lionheart Fortress Lv.6 | 578 | 570 | Training Speed +5% |
| Nightfall Fortress Lv.6 | 559 | 404 | Research Speed +20% |
| Sky Fortress Lv.6 | 421 | 485 | Building Construction Speed +20% |
| Temple of Nature Lv.5 | 653 | 670 | Grain Gathering Speed +20% |
| Temple of Order Lv.5 | 381 | 603 | Herb Output +20% |
| Temple of War Lv.5 | 687 | 453 | Grain Output +20% |
| Temple of Chaos Lv.5 | 383 | 343 | Timber Output +20% |
Lionheart Fortress Lv.6 touches the other two fortresses and several temples: Sky Fortress Lv.6, Nightfall Fortress Lv.6, Temple of War Lv.5, Everpeak Lv.4, Temple of Nature Lv.5, Dawnhold Lv.4, Temple of Order Lv.5. Nightfall Fortress Lv.6 and Sky Fortress Lv.6 also touch each other. You may declare war only on a bordering city, so the route you pick decides which fortress you reach first.
Royal City Scramble
The weekly Royal City Scramble lasts 8 hours and decides who owns the Royal City. One guide says your alliance must hold a Lv.6 city to take part, and the game blocks alliances that have no bordering captured city. An alliance that keeps the city for 8 hours in a row wins at once. If nobody manages that, the alliance with the longest combined control wins. The winning leader then has 2 hours to choose a King, and the leader becomes King if the timer runs out.
Anyone in the Kingdom can send troops to the city and to the turrets around it. Troops sent to a city held by a friendly alliance reinforce it, and troops sent to an enemy city start a fight. A turret held by one alliance fires at the Royal City held by another, and 70 percent of the troops lost in these fights go to the Infirmary instead of dying. The full turret and bar rules are on the Kingdom War page.
Weaker players can still earn rewards. One guide says the fight is usually between the top three alliances, and that other players should farm Honor Points around the city instead of the city itself, then stop at 100,000 points. The King then appoints the ministers described on the ministers page, so the winning alliance also decides who gets the Kingdom bonuses.
Abandon and Cooldown
An R4 or R5 can abandon a city from the city window. The alliance then loses the buffs of that city, and the game lists exactly which buffs go before you confirm. After an abandon, the game blocks another abandon for a while and shows the message Alliance city abandonment on cooldown. The exact length is not shown in the window, so check the timer in your own game.
Canyon Conquest Is Different
Canyon Conquest is a separate alliance event with its own rules and does not use the City Siege rules above. Registration, lanes, leagues and rewards are on the Canyon Conquest page.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you capture a city in City Siege?
An R4 or R5 declares war on a city that touches a city your alliance already owns, or on any Lv.1 city if you own none. When the protection timer ends, members send troops to the city. If the defenders fall, your alliance owns the city and gets its buff. Each alliance can declare war on one city at a time. See the declaration rules.
What is Royal City Scramble?
Royal City Scramble is a weekly 8-hour alliance event for the Royal City at the center of the map. The alliance that holds the city for 8 hours in a row wins at once, and otherwise the alliance with the longest control wins. The winning leader picks the King. The Kingdom War page covers the cross-Kingdom fight for the same city.
What happens when you abandon a city?
Your alliance loses the buffs of that city and no longer owns it. The game limits how often you can abandon a city and shows a cooldown message when you try again too soon. Only R4, R5 and the four officers hold the Abandon City permission. See the abandon section before you give up a Lv.6 city.
How do you put out a city on fire?
A city burns when someone breaches your Wall defense in a PvP attack. The Wall DEF drops every second until you extinguish the fire with Diamonds or ask for help, and at zero your city relocates to a random spot. Raise your Walls to slow the decay. The PvP page explains the fire step by step.
Which cities give the best buffs?
Only the three Lv.6 fortresses give speed buffs: Nightfall Fortress gives Research Speed +20%, Sky Fortress gives Construction Speed +20%, and Lionheart Fortress gives Training Speed +5%. Lower cities boost Grain, Timber and Herb output or Grain gathering speed. Pick the buff your alliance needs most.
