Cynthia in Last Asylum: Plague

Published: 2026-10-24

Cynthia is a UR Ranger who deals damage from range, and she holds S tier on 2 of the 3 lists that cover her. She fights with moon blades, deals only Energy DMG and is one of only a few UR heroes whose skills change at awakening. She unlocks once the server is 6 days old, well before Red Lady and Zoya.

Cynthia Stats

Cynthia belongs to the Ranger faction, has UR rarity and plays as a damage dealer. At level 1 Cynthia has 54 ATK, 3,422 HP and 36 DEF, and a Command (CMD) of 52, the number of troops the hero leads. At level 150 with all 50 star steps (10 full stars) the same hero reaches 22,200 ATK, 1,431,233 HP and 14,693 DEF, plus 350 CMD. By these numbers Cynthia sits 6th for ATK, 15th for HP and 10th for DEF among 31 heroes. ATK is the best of the three and HP the lowest.

Only level and star upgrades are counted in the table. Gear, base buildings, Ravens, awakening and the exclusive weapon come on top in battle, which lifts the full build to 916,153 power. In power at full build, Cynthia is 12th of 31. Level 150 on its own, before any star, gives 17,269 ATK, 1,113,223 HP and 11,430 DEF. Cynthia needs 10 shards to unlock and 975 more for the 50 star steps. In shard terms, 1 UR Hero Omni Shard equals 1 hero shard. A hero with full stars can join the Hall of Honor, where the honor level goes up to 600.

Cynthia Skills

Cynthia attacks from range, one blade every 0.83 seconds. Her kit has a moon blade, a giant blade that raises Crit Rate, a volley at three targets, a Crit Rate passive and a support skill. In the table, every skill appears at level 1 and level 40, and the star steps and awakening changes are listed beside it. A step is a fifth of a full star. The general rules for stars and skill levels sit on the heroes list.

Moonfall Dance raises Crit Rate by 8.2% to 16% and sends a blade for 520.8% to 1,488% ATK to everything in range. Star 30 makes the hit reach all enemies, and with every step the blade deals 2,976%. Lunar Hunt locks three random targets, and each blade deals 210% to 600% ATK, up to 1,800%. Moon's Blessing adds 8.2% to 16% Crit Rate, which grows to 24%.

Skill Priority

Badges go into four skills. The crit and Moonlight synergy suggests this order.

  1. Moonfall Dance. The blade reaches every enemy after star 30, and its Crit Rate bonus helps every other skill she casts.
  2. Lunar Hunt. It recharges every 5 seconds, so the three blades fall more often than any other part of her kit. Steps at stars 15, 35 and 45 take it to 1,800% per blade.
  3. Moon's Blessing. It is always on, and its biggest jump comes at star 50.
  4. Moon Blade. The moon blade is a basic attack with small numbers, so it goes last.

Level 20 asks for 40 stars, and awakening raises the cap beyond level 30. Badge prices for each level are in the upgrade guide.

Is Cynthia Worth It

Cynthia is an Energy DMG carry who relies on frequency rather than one huge hit. Her strongest skill ranks number 6 of the 6 UR damage dealers by its top number, and Lunar Hunt fires three blades every 5 seconds. Two Crit Rate bonuses, 16% from Moonfall Dance and 24% from Moon's Blessing, make those hits land harder. Put in the work, and she can outweigh the small faction bonus you lose by leaving a full Warrior squad.

The weak point is access. Several rankings leave Cynthia out of their main lists because her shards come mostly from paid packs, so the case for her depends on how much of that you can buy. If you can, the video below walks through her abilities, builds and upgrades.

Cynthia Awakening

Forty awakening levels burn through 2,870 Awaken Shards. The final bonuses are HP 1,490,016, ATK 11,571 and DEF 18,952. Awakening also changes four of her skills into Battle Skills at fixed levels, and the Moonlight stacks they build are the core of the new kit.

Awakening levelSkillWhat changes
1Moon BladeUnleash Moon Blade on a single enemy, dealing 747% ATK Energy DMG and gaining 1 stack of Moonlight. Max stacks equal 4x the number of Rangers in your team. Each stack grants Cynthia 1% Energy DMG Bonus
10Lunar HuntRandomly locks onto 3 targets, launching 3 moon blades, each dealing 1,800% ATK Energy DMG. Deals an additional 20% damage and grants 2 stacks of Moonlight
20Moonfall DanceIncreases Crit Rate by 16%. Releases 1 giant Moon Blade to deal 2,976% ATK Energy DMG to enemies within range, costing up to 10 stacks of Moonlight. Deals additional Energy DMG of 60% ATK * consumed Moonlight stacks to enemies.
40Moon's BlessingIn combat, increases 24% Crit Rate. Crit hits deal an additional 20% damage

The Moonlight stack limit equals 4 stacks for each Ranger in the squad, so a squad with five Rangers reaches 20 stacks. Each stack adds 1 percent Energy DMG to Cynthia.

How to Get Cynthia

Cynthia becomes available on server day 6, the same day as Shadow (day 6), and 10 Cynthia Shards unlock her. Apart from Marlena, who is open from the start, she is the only UR damage dealer that unlocks this early. Red Lady follows at day 34. Ticket costs and the pity counter are explained on the heroes list.

Unlocking is only the first purchase. Her exclusive weapon, Moon Blade, opens at 30 weapon shards and climbs to star 50 for 975 more, and awakening wants 2,870 Awaken Shards. The full build costs far more than the 10 hero shards that open her, and the awakening part is the one that changes her kit, so it is the part to plan for.

Cynthia vs Red Lady

The two UR Rangers share one role and one damage type, so the table lists where they split. The Red Lady page covers her side in depth.

Cynthia offers area damage, more targets and a stronger late game through awakening. Red Lady offers a stun and a damage mark on the enemy's best attackers. Lists put them in the same Ranger squad, so the question is mostly which one to build first.

Cynthia vs Marlena

Marlena also deals Energy DMG and also changes her skills at awakening, so players compare the two. Cynthia has 916,153 power and Marlena 914,868, but Marlena sits in S tier and is available from the start. Cynthia is a Ranger and Marlena a Warrior, which changes the faction bonus of the squad. Rankings put them in one squad: Marlena for the main damage, Cynthia as the second Energy source.

Best Team for Cynthia

Cynthia belongs in the rear slots, with two Tanks in front. A Support helps in long fights, and the number of Rangers sets her Moonlight limit.

The Ranger squad has the strongest Moonlight limit but needs every hero to be built, so most accounts start with the Warrior core. For squads without Cynthia, open the best team section, and use the tier list to judge each partner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cynthia good?

Yes. Lists give Cynthia S, with 2 of 3 matching, and her 916,153 power is the third highest among damage dealers. Her damage is all Energy DMG, so she pairs with Marlena and Red Lady. She hits more often rather than harder: Lunar Hunt fires every 5 seconds at three targets, and her awakening turns all four skills into stronger versions.

Is Cynthia worth it?

She is worth it if you can get her shards, and awakening is where she pays off. Her awakening costs 2,870 Awaken Shards and adds 1,490,016 HP at the top level. Since several rankings treat her as a premium hero, check your offers before you plan a squad around her.

How do I get Cynthia?

Cynthia can unlock from server day 6 with 10 Cynthia Shards. Several rankings treat her as a premium hero whose shards come mostly from paid packs, so standard pulls give her rarely. Pity on each 50th recruit pull hands out 10 UR shards. Keep shards on one hero, because two half piles open nobody.

Is Cynthia or Red Lady better?

Cynthia is the safer first pick. She has 916,153 power against 913,583 for Red Lady, unlocks 28 days earlier and gains four changed skills from awakening. Red Lady hits one target harder and can stun. A priority ranking sets Cynthia slightly above Red Lady, and both fit one Ranger squad.

Is Cynthia or Marlena better?

Marlena comes first. Her tier is S and Cynthia's is S, Marlena is open from the start, and her passive and awakening also boost Energy DMG. Cynthia has slightly more power, 916,153 against 914,868. They are partners in Energy squads more than rivals.

Which Cynthia skill should I level first?

Level Moonfall Dance first, then Lunar Hunt, then Moon's Blessing. Moonfall Dance grows to 2,976% ATK and hits every enemy after star 30. Lunar Hunt recharges every 5 seconds. The auto attack Moon Blade and the support skill go last. Stars set the pace: the first skill level alone wants 20 of them.
