Arthur in Last Asylum: Plague
Arthur is a UR Warrior Tank, rated S in 6 of 7 popular tier lists. At full build he reaches 1,052,453 power, and his shield, his passive for allied Tanks and his area skill make the whole squad harder to kill. Most rankings name him the first hero to build, because the heroes behind him last longer and deal more damage.
Arthur Stats
A UR hero from the Warrior faction, Arthur fills the tank role. Level 1 starts at 7,165 HP, 41 DEF and 32 ATK. Command (CMD), the number of troops the hero leads, starts at 52. With level 150 and 50 star steps (10 full stars) done, Arthur climbs to 2,996,645 HP, 16,770 DEF and 13,096 ATK, with 350 CMD. By these numbers Arthur sits 3rd for HP, 2nd for DEF and 21st for ATK among 31 heroes. DEF is the best of the three, inside the top five of 31.
The table lists the hero's own stats from level and star upgrades. The exclusive weapon, awakening, gear, base buildings and Ravens add to them in battle, which is why the full build reaches 1,052,453 power. In power at full build, Arthur is 3rd of 31, inside the top five. Before star steps, Arthur at level 150 stands at 2,330,811 HP, 13,045 DEF and 10,187 ATK. Unlocking Arthur takes 10 shards, the 50 star steps take 975 more. In shard terms, 1 UR Hero Omni Shard equals 1 hero shard. A hero with full stars can join the Hall of Honor, where the honor level goes up to 600.

Arthur Skills
Arthur fights at melee range and swings once every 0.9 seconds. His kit has five skills: a shield swing, a strong area skill, a shield for himself, a passive for allied Tanks and a support skill. Each table row gives the effect from skill level 1 up to level 40 and lists the star upgrades beside it. A star number counts steps, and every five steps add one full star. The heroes list explains how stars and levels work for all heroes.

Earthshattering is the skill that makes Arthur worth building. It hits every enemy in range for 591.15% to 1,689% ATK Physical DMG and lowers the Physical DMG that allies in range take by 10.25% to 20% for 5 seconds, and it recharges every 7 seconds. With all three star upgrades the reduction grows to 35% at skill level 40. Rock Solid wraps Arthur in a shield worth 5.25% to 15% of his max HP, which reaches 30% with its upgrades. Strong Will cuts the damage allied Tanks take by 3.08% to 6%, and the upgrades lift it to 9%. Tenacity, the support skill, unlocks at hero level 30 together with star 40 and adds 20 percent to ATK, HP and DEF.
Skill Priority
Arthur has four skills that take Skill Badges, and the order below follows the rankings and the size of each effect for the squad.
- Earthshattering. It is the only Arthur skill that damages every enemy and protects every nearby ally in one cast. The star upgrades for this skill arrive at stars 10, 30 and 50.
- Strong Will. It is always on and covers allied Tanks, so it pays off in any fight with a second Tank. Star upgrades arrive at stars 20, 45 and 50.
- Rock Solid. The shield recharges every 5 seconds and absorbs 50 percent of the damage Arthur takes for 3 seconds. Upgrades for it arrive at stars 15, 35 and 45.
- Battle Shield. The auto attack reaches 900% ATK at the top, but Arthur is in the squad to absorb damage, so this skill comes last.
Skill levels need stars. Skill level 5 asks for 20 hero stars, level 10 for 30, level 20 for 40, and level 30 for 50. Level 40 also needs awakening level 40. Badge costs for every step are in the upgrade guide.
Arthur vs Daskal
Arthur and Daskal are both UR Warrior Tanks, and they are the two Tanks most Warrior squads want in the front row. They protect the squad in different ways. Arthur lowers the damage allies take and shields himself, and Daskal puts a shield on every ally. The video below compares the two heroes in play.
| Stat | Arthur | Daskal |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity, faction, role | UR Warrior Tank | UR Warrior Tank |
| Power at full build | 1,052,453 | 1,057,192 |
| Attack interval | 0.9 s | 0.83 s |
| Auto attack at skill level 40, all stars | 900% ATK | 747% ATK |
| Strongest skill | Earthshattering: hits all enemies, lowers Physical DMG taken by allies up to 35% | Bloodshed Defense: a shield on every ally, up to 684% of max DEF |
| Active skill | Rock Solid: a shield of 30% max HP | Deadly Pierce: 924% ATK Physical DMG and healing |
| Passive | Strong Will: allied Tanks take up to 9% less damage | Resolute Fight: a shield for your damage dealer below 50 percent HP |
| Exclusive weapon | Stone Shield | Crimson Greatsword |
| How to get | Available from the start | Once the server is 27 days old |
| Tier list rating | S in 6 of 7 lists | S in 2 of 2 lists |
Arthur is the better first build for three reasons: he is available from the first day, the most lists rate him, and he protects Tanks and damage dealers alike. Daskal is a strong second Tank for the Warrior core, and the two together make a dense front row that gives the back row time to use its skills. Arthur's Physical DMG reduction is his one gap. Daskal's shield helps against any damage type, which is why many squads run both.
Build and Gear
Arthur is a stars-first hero. His three strongest skills gain upgrades between stars 10 and 50, and Tenacity joins the kit at star 40, so shards go into stars before anything else. Armor and boots come first for a Tank, with the sword and gauntlets after them; the gear page lists the four slots and how they upgrade.
Arthur's exclusive weapon is Stone Shield. It unlocks with 30 weapon shards and then levels from star 0 to star 50 on its own track, which costs 975 more shards. It sits beside the normal gear and does not replace it.
| Stone Shield star | HP | ATK | DEF |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 156,000 | 1,040 | 1,040 |
| 20 | 336,000 | 2,240 | 2,240 |
| 30 | 569,000 | 3,810 | 3,810 |
| 40 | 870,000 | 5,900 | 5,900 |
| 50 | 1,251,000 | 8,750 | 8,750 |
Awakening is the last system to add: 40 levels, 2,870 Awaken Shards in total and 50 shards to start. The stat bonuses for each level will appear when his awakening window opens in Era of Revival, and the top level opens skill levels 31 to 40. The awakening page explains where the shards go.
Best Team for Arthur
Arthur takes the first slot in the front row. A second Tank stands beside him, a damage dealer such as Marlena stands behind, and a Support hero sits in the middle. The squads below follow the rankings and the faction bonus rules from the heroes list.
| Squad | Heroes | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Warriors | Arthur, Bella, Marlena, Claire, Celia | New accounts, five Warriors with the full faction bonus |
| Rat King | Arthur, Marlena, Bella or Griffith, Stellar, Claire or Greenwald | Surviving the waves and the boss |
| UR core | Arthur, Marlena, Shadow, Stellar and one flex hero | Covering Physical and Energy damage |
| Warrior squad | Arthur, Daskal, Harper, Marlena, Zoya | The full faction bonus with UR heroes |
| Two Tank lines | Arthur, Ulfrid, and damage dealers behind them | Shields from Arthur and reflected damage from Ulfrid |
The minimum squad that clears the Rat King is Arthur to hold the line, Marlena for steady damage and one solid SSR Support. Without a UR Tank, Bella stands in for him until he arrives. The best team page compares more squads, and the squads page shows how to place the rows.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Arthur skill should I level first?
Level Earthshattering first. It hits every enemy in range and lowers the Physical DMG your allies take, from 10.25% at skill level 1 to 35% at level 40 with all star upgrades. Strong Will comes second, then Rock Solid, and the auto attack Battle Shield comes last. Keep the hero stars ahead of the skill levels, because each skill level needs a minimum star.
Is Arthur worth building first?
Yes. Arthur is rated S in 6 of 7 popular tier lists, and one ranking notes that every other hero performs better behind a built Arthur. He needs no server day to appear, and his shield, damage reduction and area skill protect damage dealers such as Marlena while they work.
What gear does Arthur need?
Arthur is a Tank, so level his armor and boots before the sword and gauntlets. His exclusive weapon, Stone Shield, has its own 50 stars and at star 50 it gives HP 1,251,000 plus 8,750 each in ATK and DEF. It unlocks with 30 weapon shards, and the stars take 975 more.
Is Arthur or Daskal better?
Build Arthur first. He is available from the start and rated S in 6 of 7 lists, while Daskal unlocks once the server is 27 days old and is rated by only 2 lists. Arthur lowers the damage the whole squad takes, and Daskal shields every ally. Many squads run both once Daskal arrives.
How do I get Arthur?
Arthur unlocks with 10 of his own shards. They drop from Tavern recruitment, the Alliance Shop and event rewards, and the pity on every 50th pull hands out 10 shards of one UR hero. Arthur has no server day condition, so he is one of the first UR heroes a new account can reach. Keep your shards for one target hero instead of spreading them.
